Winner of eight awards in the XXV Cinema Festival in Brasilia, the movie, directed by Guilherme de Almeida Prado, earned Betty the award for best support actress.

The sopa opera by Gloria Perez, wich addressed the issue of organ donation, showed Betty as Antonia Santos Varella, the rejected wife of a judge (Tarcísio Meira)
